1. 1Creating an account

   We require an account to protect retailers from spam and abuse and to enable a personalized experience (saved address, quote history, alerts, and related features). Your email is used solely for authentication, essential service updates (such as Terms of Service changes), and opted-in notifications.

2. 2Calculating quotes

   A delivery or pickup address, and your name, email, and phone number, are required for live, side-by-side quotes. When you click "Calculate," these details are entered into the checkout of each retailer we quote to determine accurate shipping, taxes, fees, and totals. Retailers may use them under their own privacy policies, including to send you promotional emails—we suggest an email alias. Your name, email, and phone number are kept only in your browser; we do not store them on our servers, except as they appear in checkout screenshots.

3. 3Data Retention & Operations

   We retain search and click activity, as well as quote history—including address data, checkout screenshots (which show the details entered at checkout), and final cost data—for up to 25 months. We also keep a diagnostic recording of each checkout, including the details entered, for 30 days to troubleshoot failures and improve reliability. This data is used to operate and improve the service—showing Cart Proof per retailer, providing quick access to recent quotes, pre-filling saved locations, and troubleshooting location-related checkout issues—while supporting two-year product analysis. We may share aggregated, anonymized pricing insights by ZIP-code with retailers to help them stay competitive.

We never collect payment details or sell your personal information.

PriceAmmo is a metasearch engine—we do not sell ammunition directly, guarantee pricing, or reimburse price differences. Displayed sticker prices and inventory are fetched directly from retailers' sites and refreshed approximately every four hours, while Total CPR is calculated live at the exact moment you click "Calculate." These figures reflect exact merchant pricing at the time of calculation and are backed by Cart Proof. However, technical parsing or extraction errors may occasionally occur, and final prices, shipping rates, taxes, and inventory status are set entirely by third-party retailers and are subject to change without notice. Always verify product details and the final order total on the merchant's checkout page before completing your transaction.
